After a hectic three days we decided to kick back and relax for a day so booked another night here at Black Bear. Not much doing today just hanging around and catching up on the blog.
We went to have BBQ at Chumleys BBQ on Main St. Ron loves BBQ so he is looking forward to trying theirs. We ordered their “world famous” chicken wings but found them to be just “ok”.
The pulled pork sandwiches were as advertised – really good and their homemade BBQ sauce even better. So not a total loss.
After lunch we stopped to look at a couple of monuments:

Back at the CG Ron got a picture of a cool camper:
I don’t think I mentioned this but Brooke’s daughter Gabby is a good little artist. She is very shy and doesn’t like to talk to people but she does love to draw. Interestingly, we were having a conversation about Ron’s hearing loss. Gabby was busy drawing and seemingly not paying attention but then she gave Ronnie a drawing that clearly indicated she was listening to the conversation.
See what appears to be sound waves emitting from his right ear – the ear he was talking about. Pretty clever.
Tomorrow we will be heading to New Jersey to secure a site at Liberty Harbor RV Park. We hope to spend one week there and take in the sites and sounds of NYC.
