We both slept fairly well after downing some Nyquil. Ron seemed to feel a little better and me a little worse. We left the CG around 10 am hoping to beat the traffic on the GWB. No such luck. There was a breakdown in the middle lane slowing traffic to almost a stop. It took two hours just to get out of New York.
We arrived home by 3:30 pm and only unloaded the essentials from the MH. Had dinner and by 7 pm I was sound asleep for the night. Ron got a second wind and stayed up until 11:30 pm. Had a great, busy trip but glad to be home.
Our next adventure begins on June 10th when we fly out to Seattle to see our West Coast family and attend Megan’s graduation from Central Washington University. Looking forward to seeing Kelly, Patrick and Megan – hoping NOT to bring any germs with us!
